Descripción
La nueva HVR-A1U ahora ofrece a los videógrafos profesionales otra opción para capturar y reproducir imágenes HD. La HVR-A1U ofrece muchas de las mismas prestaciones de su hermana mayor la HVR-Z1U, como entradas de audio balanceadas con conector XLR, código de tiempo SMPTE y lentes Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar® T*, Montior LCD de 2.7 pulgadas proporción 16:9 y un visor electrónico seleccionable entre color y BYN. Sin embargo, su pequeño tamaño y su peso de 670 gramos, hace que esta cámara sea ideal para aplicaciones donde el espacio es un premium o una movilidad extrema es requerida. Por ejemplo una aplicación temporal puede ser la de colocarla en un casco de un paracaidista, o en el techo de un carro de carrera. El sensor CMOS de Sony produce tonos naturales y ricos tanto para las áreas luminosas y oscuras de la imagen. Para lograr este amplio rango dinámico, la tecnología EIP emplea un algoritmo que separa la data de la imagen en patrones de texturas y componentes de brillo. La tecnología basada en CMOS ayuda a eliminar la presencia de los desbordes de luz (smear), que se crean como bandas verticales de luz brillante desde el tope hasta la parte inferior de la imagen, cuando existe un punto muy brillante en la toma. Sony ha reducido el tamaño de los transistores dentro de la matriz de píxeles, permitiendo una mayor área en la porción foto sensible del píxel y por lo tanto esto permite que mayor cantidad de luz sea tomada que en un sensor CMOS tradicional. Además circuitos de doble muestreo correlacionado en el sensor logran una calidad de imagen con un nivel de ruido extremadamente bajos. La circuiteria del sensor CMOS de Sony trabaja con un voltaje menor y consume menos poder que los procesadores para CCD tradicional, resultando en no solo una mayor duración de la vida de la batería, sino también el poder usar baterías mas compactas reduciendo el peso general de la cámara. La cámara HVR-A1U puede grabar y reproducir contenido HDV, DVCAM™ y DV, con la habilidad de convertir el material hacia definición estandard. Un monitor de pantalla ancha de LCD y un visor electrónico, también está incluido.

I just got this camera the other day and I am simply amazed at the quality of the image that is captured with it.
